Triage-Responder® is a result of the Cyber Forensic First Responder Field Kit initiative started started by DHS S&T back in 2009. The goal was to develop a forensic triage tool to help state and local law enforcement quickly investigate and immediately extract evidence from computers and other devices captured or involved in an active criminal or terrorist investigation. Once extracted, the data can immediately be viewed so investigators can take appropriate action while saving the data for future forensic analysis.
