ADF Solutions, Inc. has designed the following 2-day Digital First Responder Training and Certification programs to equip attendees with knowledge and skills to immediately extract conclusive evidence and intelligence from suspect computers and other digital media.
CDFR Level 1: This Level 1 class is intended for users with limited understanding of computers but who are involved in cyber investigations. They will learn what it means to search a computer for evidence/intelligence, how to do it without compromising the chain of custody, and what to expect from triaging a suspect computer as opposed to a full forensic examination.
CDFR Level 2: The Level 2 class is intended for users with an adequate level of computer skills. This includes students that have passed the CDFR Level 1 exam or are certified forensic examiners. Level 2 certified users can support Level 1 users and/or perform field and lab triage. They will learn how to execute complex searches, understand advanced features, and analyze the triage results.
Digital First Responder (DFR) Training & Certification Program
To obtain their DFR Certification, students must
- Participate in the 2-Day DFR training program (DFR Level 1 or Level 2)
- Pass the online exam
- Perform a scan on a real case and provide ADF Solutions with a 'First Run Briefing' via our private user forum
