ADF Solutions offers agencies the option to have their own trainers train their investigators and forensic examiners on the ADF software. Only authorized agencies that have held a "Train the Trainer" program can run this program. To qualify agencies to train on the ADF software, ADF provides an initial "Train the Trainer" program and access to all the latest training materials. This training class is usually conducted at the agency and requires a training room and availability of at least 1.5 to 2 computers per attendee.

This class is 2.5 days, and organized as follows:

• Regular DFR Level 1 class that must be attended by both the trainers as well as some initial investigators. The recommended minimum is a class of 4 which includes 2 trainers and 2 investigators.

• Condensed DFR Level 2 class that has to be attended only by the trainers.

The selected trainers must satisfy the following requirements:

• be forensically trained (or equivalent),
• have prior training experience with investigators,
• pass the DFR Level 2 certification.
