Why am I seeing "waiting for valid license file"?

If you have your Authentication Key plugged in but see a message stating "waiting for valid license file"

Our license files are created for a single tool only and contain the unique serial number of the USB Authentication Key or Collection Key.

If you see this message:

wrong licence key

this means you are trying to use an Authentication Key for a different ADF product so you will need to install the product that matches the license.


If you see this message:

different removeable drive error

then the license file on the Authentication Key contains the serial number of another key. When you requested an evaluation we ask you for a serial number of the USB device you want to use as an Authentication Key and we generate a licence file for you using that serial number. The licence file and the USB serial number are linked and the licence file cannot be used on any other USB device.
