Welcome! You have a requirement or need and decided to evaluate one of the ADF products for your computer forensic, mobile forensic, or triage workflows. You have observed the videos and have most likely been through a demonstration or two and have a better understanding of the functionality you are looking for. We here at ADF Solutions want to make sure you get the most out of your evaluation, and that starts with a smooth transition to the evaluation phase.

ADF Solutions is always looking to make your job easier and part of that comes in the support options available to you, one being our how-to video series. In this blog post, you will see one of those videos covering our new licensing system, allowing you to download your evaluation license immediately. Whether you are licensing a USB device or a computer/tablet, the process is very user-friendly.

To get started you need to determine if your license will be for a computer/tablet or a USB device. If choosing a USB device for Digital Evidence Investigator, Triage Investigator, or Mobile Device Investigator, there are no minimum requirements and can be as small as 250MB as the key is only used to authenticate your license.

Once it is determined the type of license you are generating you need to determine the hardware id of that device of which we will walk you through the process. Once the hardware ID is determined the required information is entered into the online license generator and your license is generated. The last step is to save the license to the appropriate location and the evaluation process can begin.

Throughout the evaluation process or your ADF product, you will have several options available to you for support, Email the support team, call the support team, or visit our online how-to videos and knowledge base. You can also enroll in one of our online Certified User courses that you can take at your own pace.
